Another landmark achieved for European statistics! The memorandum of Understanding deepens collaboration across Europe and equalizes conference participation amongst the participating FENStatS member societies!
21 FENStatS members agreed to recognize the membership status of national societies and apply reciprocically the same fees for organized conferences and events. The agreement, framed as a memorandum of understanding, was finalized on 23 June 2026, on the day of the landmark FENStatS General Assembly 2026. Under this agreement, members of any participating FENStatS member society will pay the same fee as required of members of the organizing FENStats member society. This agreement strengthens mutual collaboration amongst national societies and contributes to a more fruitful exchange of ideas within the European statistical community. Least but not last, it enhances the value of membership within the FENStatS network.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed through May and June 2026 by these European national statistical societies:

The memorandum of Understanding entered into force upon its finalization on 26 June 2026 and shall remain in effect indefinitely unless otherwise revised or terminated.
