Young statisticians convene this year in early October 2026 in Austria.
The 30th Young Statisticians Meeting (30th YSM) will be held in Austria, at Seegasthof Breineder in Mönichwald, a village in the north-east of Styria, between 2 and 4 Oct 2026.
Participating countries are Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, and Croatia. It has turned out that every event in the YSM series successfully established a platform for younger statisticians without major experience in giving talks in English to an international audience. An interesting variety of different topics from the large scope of statistics are covered and no limitation on any special topic has never been given. The official conference language is English.
Registration fee for participants (except for invited speakers and programme committee) is 80 euros, to be paid upon arrival in cash. This includes lunch and dinner on 3 Oct 2026 and all coffee breaks.
