Applied Statistics 2026 in late September 2026
The Applied Statistics conference series, organized by the Statistical Society of Slovenia, has for more than two decades served as an international meeting point for researchers and practitioners in statistical methodology, data science, and applied statistical research.
The conference program facilitates the exchange of academic insights and practical expertise across a three-day schedule:
- Main Conference (September 21–22, 2026): Peer-reviewed oral and poster presentations, alongside invited keynote lectures by distinguished experts.
- Workshop (September 23, 2026): A dedicated day focusing on methodological developments, statistical software, and hands-on applications.
The conference welcomes contributions on topics related to applied statistics in the broadest sense, including but not limited to: artificial intelligence and machine learning, biostatistics and bioinformatics, data science and data mining, econometrics, high-performance computing in statistical applications, mathematical statistics, measurement, modeling and simulation, network science, social networks, and collective intelligence, sampling methods, social science methodology, training in statistics. Interdisciplinary contributions combining methodological innovation with substantive applications are particularly encouraged. We also warmly welcome submissions from early-career researchers and doctoral students.
Submissions should take the form of abstracts (up to 300 words) and will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee based on relevance and clarity.
