The young section of Società Italiana di Statistica organizes Statalk 2026 to be held in May 2026 in Italian Turin
StaTalk is a free conference organized by the young section of the Italian Statistical Society (y-SIS), dedicated to fostering collaboration and idea exchange among early-career researchers and students from diverse fields.
The event highlights theoretical, methodological, computational, and applied statistical research. Emphasis is both on the latest developments in statistical theory as well as cutting edge applied research in various areas such as classification, spatial statistics, causal inference, epidemiology, and clinical and observational studies, among others.
More than just a conference, StaTalk is a thriving community where young statisticians can share their research, spark new collaborations, and engage in stimulating discussions. Whether you're looking to present your work or simply expand your network, StaTalk provides an inspiring and supportive environment.
After the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, StaTalk has re-emerged as a vibrant platform for reconnecting and strengthening the statistical community.
This edition will be held at the University of Turin, School of Management and Economics, From 21 May to 22 May 2026. The deadline for registration is 31 March 2026 and the deadline for abstract submission is 15 April 2026.
