Two jubilee events in Finland this year: NORDSTAT 2026 & the Finnish Summer School on Probability and Statistics
The 30th Nordic Conference in Mathematical Statistics, NORDSTAT 2026, will be hosted by the University of Helsinki, Finland, on June 1-4, 2026. The conference program will be composed of plenary lectures, invited and contributed talks, and a poster session. The call for abstracts for contributed sessions, talks and poster presentations is on. The submission deadline is March 30, 2026.

NORDSTAT 2026 will be accompanied by a satellite event, which will take place the week before NORDSTAT 2026. With a program consisting of 4 minicourses on current research topics from stochastics and statistics, the 44th Finnish Summer School on Probability and Statistics will run on May 25-29, 2026, at Lammi Biological Station of the University of Helsinki.
