Paper submission for the SIS-FENStatS 2026 conference

event date: 2026-02-16Academics, researchers, PhD students, and practitioners worldwide are invited to submit an original short paper for the 53rd SIS Scientific Meeting and the 1st FENStatS Scientific Meeting, to be held in Rome, Italy, on Jun 22–25, 2026. Submissions are mandatory for all types of sessions, including plenary, specialized, solicited, contributed, and poster sessions.

Short papers must satisfy the following guidelines:

  • Be written in English.
  • Be from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 6 pages in length, including tables, figures, and references.
  • Contain an abstract of up to 200 words and up to 4 keywords.
  • List the names and affiliations of all authors.
  • Indicate a corresponding author with email address.
  • Clearly describe the substantive problem and analyzed data (when applicable), outline the adopted statistical or methodological approach, and provide a concise summary of results and conclusions.


All submissions will be subject to a blind peer-review process to ensure fairness and scientific quality.


Important deadlines

  • Contributed and poster papers: Submission of first-version short papers: Feb 16, 2026
  • Plenary,  specialized and solicited papers: Submission of first-version short papers: Mar 28, 2026
  • All categories: Final submission of all short papers, mandatory for publication in the pre-conference proceedings book by Springer Nature: Apr 10, 2026
