You are warmly invited for Energy Days in Prague!
Energy Days is a workshop that has been held intermittently in Prague since 2016, and this year it will be held on 6 to 8 Nov 2025 with the deadline for abstract submission set to 1 Nov 2025. Energy days brings together researchers, engineers, and practitioners to discuss emerging challenges and state-of-the-art methods in network modelling, with a particular focus on system stability, reliability, and optimization. The key topics include, but are not limited to:
- Dynamic stability in power grids and integrated energy systems,
- Probabilistic reliability assessment and resilience modelling,
- Optimization techniques for large-scale network control and planning,
- Machine learning and data-driven methods in network behaviour prediction,
- Applications in smart grids, transportation, and communication networks.
This workshop is expected to foster constructive dialogue, initiate collaboration, and provide insights into the evolving landscape of complex networked systems. It will be accompanied with a round table discussion with introductory talks given by leading representatives of Czech energy industry and research, and by invited European experts in this field.
The workshop and round table are supported by the Czech Academy of Sciences within the framework of the research program Strategie AV21, Czech Technical University in Prague, Charles University in Prague, Czech Statistical Office, Czech Statistical Society, and Slovak Statistical and Demographic Society.
The Energy days 2025 are organized under the auspices of the Federation of European National Statistical Societies, and EUSTAT
