Dipartimento di Economia e Impresa, Università di Catania, Catania (Italy), organizes the 7th edition of the international workshop on "Models and Learning for Clustering and Classification" [MBC2 2024], which will be held on August 28-30, 2024, in Italian Catania. The first day of the conference will start with a tutorial on "Contrastive Learning Approaches for Data Classification: Methods, Applications and Software".

The workshop provides a focus on the state-of-the-art research in the field of statistical models and learning techniques in different areas of clustering and classification.

You may attend to keynote lectures by Pietro Coretto (Università di Salerno, Italy), Jianqing Fan (Princeton University, USA), Peter Rousseuw (KU Leuven, Belgium), Valeria Vitelli (University of Oslo, Norway) and Sara Wade (University of Edinburgh, UK), and presentations during the tutorial by Michael Gutmann (University of Edinburgh, UK), Concetto Spampinato (University of Catania, Italy)
