Policy and Awareness-Raising Committee

On the April 2026 meeting of the FENStatS Executive Committee, an advisory committee operating within and under FENStatS was created and named

Policy and Awareness-Raising Committee (PARC).

The agenda comprises the following competences:

📝 to monitor threats to statistical independence,

📝 to respond to consultations,

📝 to raise the visitility of statisticians in policy debates.

Eight representatives of European statistics from amonst FENStatS member statistical societies were nominated for the PARC and accepted the nomination:
